started out as a doodle. Was trying out new stuff I found in a loomis book and kept pushing it further... tried a new photoshop technique, too.
got heavy problems with that head... any tips or hints would be appreciated.

i´ll see where it´ll lead...

hmm, i have a tip... you could have a long strained vainy neck leaning forwards, giving off a brutal look... and uh maybe experiment witha different colour something more eerie... greyish, greenish.. dark and maybe hairy too. That would look scary...

Very cool. I agree with misho in that perhaps you should try a head looking forward instead of up and back. It alters the mood of the piece though..it'd be more like he's challenging someone..you know that whole jutting out of the chest thing guys do...like "hey, you want some o' dis?"

hmmmm... I agree with you! the idea of a long neck leaning forward is kind of cool.

like he´s yelling "YOU!!! YOU LOOKING AT ME!?!? I´MA KICK YOUR BUTT YOU FILTHY LITTLE &§$%@ !!!" :evilbat:

and I think i am going for a more brutal, challenging look. But i need to get some background before i start coloring the figure... and i need to place my lightsource first.

I did not really think about the colorscheme for a final look... I only wanted to see if I can get the shadows to work.
