Good to see your work again Prom. Those spaceships look very much like the ones in the game Homeworld to me. Which of course isn't anything bad...

loving them all...especially the chick with the dragon on the background, but if i may give a small suggestion, ( i am in no position to be giving them) the foot that sticks out is a lil to pointy, maybe it's just me.
In any case keep on stompin'em

You can pump out really solid stuff pretty fast. Have you ever thought about making a comic?

Well the project started out as a simple exile clone but escalated into the usual WIP design doc and half finished pictures. Here's the design doc I started on. It's mostly keywords and random thoughts.

Oh yes the pointy metal shoe on the lass is deliberate, I sorta like those designs. Perhaps it looks odd though as the armour is pretty round otherwise.

I'd like to do a comic. I have like 10 comic projects. I work on them from time to time as I'm very... fluctuant. Got no focus at all.

Very cool stuff Prometheus... and a nice varied selection too.

I read your Exile doc, and you say you have only played the C64 version. Do you know if it was released on the Amiga? It seems very familiar.

Danko Danko

Exile was released for BBC micro, C64, Amiga 500/1200 and perhaps a few other older machines (Acorn?). I don't think it was available for NES. I had Solar Jetman for NES though but it wasn't as good.

your drawings remind me a bit of Homeworld 2 ship's design- but in a whole new sleek and sexy way.

Really nice work Prom...

though the pose of the painted chibi isn't that good.
Don't think you would move that way while holding a sword.

Nice to see work from fellow Swedes here... :)

And I would like to thank you for the words and advices you have written on your webside in the tutorial section. It helped me a lot! :chug:

I just came back from Germany (Bonn mainly) so I'm a little tired. It didn't stop me from parking myself in front of the computer right away though. I only made one drawing there though. I might upload it and some photos later.
Anyhow, thanks for the comments.

Behem> Yeah, I actually added the pink suit with Sorayama in mind... I didn't plan to at first though. Robots sorta fits in pink swimsuits though, doncha say?

Sone> Chibi a japanese manga style where you draw the head quite big and sorta 'cutish'. Manga.chibi.painted might be the definition of my pic. It looks better in lineart style I think (BLADE, Mine, Nadeara, keeko19, PeaceMaker to mention a few (I don't know their proper names (whoohoo for sub parantheses!))).

al> Yeah, I'm very sloppy with poses and situations. I should probably spend a bit more time on planning my images :G

I'll see about posting more stuff and tuts later. Perhaps. Who knows? I don't ._.

Man I love your stuff. Do you program in C? I noticed your algorithms for damage and armor functions on your exile page..

Do you have any more Open Canvas files you could share?

I really wish I could see a demo by you in photoshop..
