Well I'm new to this site and by the look of things- there are some really amazing artists out there. I plan on doing daily sketches until I improve, then I'll do even more! haha...

One question I have for people who've been here a while:
Whats with all the thumbs at the top of the page? Are they like the really good artists? Anyhow... If in order..

The first pic is a 20 minute sketch of myself- lemme know what you think about it. questions/comments always welcome...

The second pic is something i started on a paper with lots of coffee stains (it was my mug holder haha) so yeah..

The third pic is a bunch of poses that i figured i should try out..

hi
you should try studying anatomy and do more life drawing.with the face think about the scull, certain parts of the face should recede, like around the eyes, this will create shadow, etc.try looking at photographs to see what i mean.It should help, the face itself looks quite good, but it really just lacks depth.

I's stay away from manga too, learn how to draw it normally before you stylize it.
post more stuff,good start
