I'm an aspiring artist who is looking to study concept art. particularly video game concept art. I would appreciate any help anyone has to offer in the area of sci-fi, fantasy, and and other helpful tips.

here is some of my work at deciantart, this way anyone who is willing to help me can get an idea of where i am as an artist.

You want help, well your here. At CA.org, you'll get more experience here than you would deviantart. To get critiques and critism you should start by making a sketchbook in the sketchbook thread (http://conceptart.org/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=41). Learn by purchacing Massive Black's instuctional DVD (http://conceptart.org/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=144) (very cheep). Explore CA.org it has many benifets on building artist.

What he said. But yeah, just look around, make a sketchbook, and take critiques. They will help you massively in the future. If you really need help with something, dont be afraid to ask. We might be mostly professionals here, but we are also very helpful. Oh, and dont to much into deviantart unless you just want an ego boost. Thats what I use it for :P They hardly give you critiques there, so yeah, stay focused here for a while if you want to pick up some skills.
