Ok, i'm trying something new thanks to you guys ... i'm editing my painting in photoshop before i put the actual image on the painting in case i don't like the layout of it or the composition. the colors of the new objects will no where be nearly what i will finally have but i would like a comment on possible color schemes that could work if possible as well. here is the before image

and here is the new additions which i plan to do, minus the drop shadow of the figure and the possible glow of the rotating stones around the figure. (do you think i should do the glow as well? hmm dunno myself)

Nice composition. Looks realy native. I know that every abstract art have story behid it, I just wonder do you have one?

sort of, it is more of an idea than a story. the series i'm trying to work on is called "The Remembered" and this peice is "valley of the Remembered II" the first one i have already completed. and i even posted it in the "IT"S FINISHED" forum. its now a ways down since you all make lots of art. but i can link it here. i wanted to go with that idea of our emotions abstracted when we remember them and given shape. more of a surreal envisioning of those thoughts, memories and feelings. right now in the series i'm on that begining of the process of the "journey" which the work will take. as well as later exploring some of the darker aspects of the thought process and following up with the conclusion where the journey comes out of that dark place. well thats it ^_^

yeah i know, i should finish my other projects before i begin sculpting again, but you know what, i don't find painting as appealing as sculpting. oh well ... just started it, c&c welcomed.

you should have started another thread for your sculpture!
for a second i thought you were holding a piece of fruit, oopsie. everthing looks too organic. like his gas mask the edges are too rounded. and the tubing from his eye piece looks more like tentacles than metal piping. it tough to crit, cant see enough of the piece.
keep posting more sculputres, i'd love to see em!
