Doublesix (Guildford, UK) – Senior 2D Artist

Kuju’s newest studio doublesix, situated in the heart of Guildford town centre, has been established to create addictive, “have another go” video games across all downloadable formats, with the intention of establishing ourselves as a world leader on digital distribution across all platforms: XBLA, PSN, Wii-Ware and PC.
We are now looking for an experienced Games Artist with good drawing skills, or talented illustrator who wants to get into the games industry.
Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 pa
Dimensions:
Build 2D art assets (backgrounds, sprites, SVFX and GUI)
Ability to manage outsourced work or a small team of artists
In charge of all the art of the project
Accountabilities:
To build game assets to the highest quality standard, true to the art direction. They consist of sprites, static backgrounds, front-end elements and special visual effects.
If needed, outsource some work and manage the outsourcer to maintain the quality level of the outsourced artwork.
