Talented Art Students needing a place to stay in SF

Hi, there CA members. This is kinda of an off topic thing, but Me and my friend are looking for a place to bum for a month or two in the San Francisco Area. I'm an Illustration major and my friend is 3D animation. It'll be kind if anyone here would let us know asap if you have or know a studio/apartment in SF. Highest rent we'll pay is 1400 a month. I'm also looking at the bay area for a place to live. Craig's list has worked for me pretty well. There are also some hotels out there that you can rent out by the week.

I was in your shoes a month ago (looking for a 2 month sublet in the bay area) and found craigslist to be far and away the most helpful tool in getting a place that fit my needs. I posted a "sublet wanted" with all my particulars and had an ideal situation locked down in 48 hours.
