blah.. mixing paint..

...why is it so difficult to mix the right colors!!

Im going to lose my mind trying to figure it out..

Trying to paint something in front of you, I assume? I usually find there are several colors where I originally thought was only one or two.

Are you just dabbling, or are you in a painting class?

I haven't had much trouble mixing paint even though I'm new to painting. But that could be because so far I've only worked with limited palettes and tried to match tone instead of actual color.

some colors are jsut hard to get..

Tonight I was working on a peice that was a guy wearing a hat.. I could not get a decent color fot the shadowed skin..

I really need to take a class, but I cant find any classes that are not at a college..
