I didn't want to look any of these up after, just in case they were really just made up. Cuz these are pretty frickin cool.

I've read about the Antikythera Mechanism and I saw the Baghdad Battery on Mythbusters. However I'm not so sure about some other stuff on that site. The impossible fossils as the call those remind me of some "archeological sites" that some creationists made in the USA to prove that dinosaurs and humans coexisted for a while (they put human an dinosaur footprints next to each other). I also think that it's kind of strange that the handprint is bigger than the hand next to it since humans should have probably been tiny at that time.

yeah a lot of those, if not all of them seem like bullshit. Probably never heard of them cause there's no way scientists can take them seriously.

I'm not a scientist. I'm not even 20. I can afford to not be anal retentive about every little thing like this, it's not going to save any lives if I know the ins and outs of this stuff.
I did stumble upon an article on the Antikythera Mechanism (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?xml=/news/2006/11/29/ugreek129.xml), afterward.

You can "afford" to be ignorant until the day you die, age has nothing to do with it. When i was a teenager you'd see me digging through any resource to find out more about this stuff. Hell, thats when i actually had more interest in researching.

Maybe, but being easily fooled means it might cost you a lot one day.

So nobody else thought this was just fun to think about? Come on, space ships in ancient Egypt and people riding dinosaurs, that means nothing to you people??

If this gets you excited, you should definately read Le Matin des Magiciens (translated to The Morning of the Magicians). (http://www.amazon.com/Morning-Magicians-Mysteries-Universe-S/dp/0285635832/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1203026981&sr=8-1) This kind of stuff is a litterature current that was very popular in the '70s/'80s in europe.
Anyways, that page looks like it's been written by the CoS... Eeek!

Of course it's fun. But don't confuse fun with real. That was my point, and my objection to your original post.

it would be much easier to believe if they didn't use the term Brontosaurus. It was discredited in 74 (I still saw it in text books in 77)
that was back when archaeologist threw any combinations of bone together that they felt like (oh wait they still do that) lol

It's more complicated than that. And you mean paleontologists. And no they don't.

So it is authentic. Fascinating!
Prof Edmunds said: "It makes you wonder what they would have achieved if they'd have carried on, and the Romans hadn't taken over and put a stop to things. Would they have had a man on the Moon by AD 300?
"It sounds ridiculous, but if they were able to construct something as technically brilliant as this, it's not complete fantasy," said Prof Edmunds.

I think you may be taking me way too literally.

Any chance you know of a decent article? I can't seem to find anything that isn't from a paranormal site. From the sounds of it, the giant Costa Rican balls and the Coso Artifact are at least part-authentic, though the Coso Artifact may be a 1920 spark plug that has become "encased in a concretion composed of iron derived from the rusting spark plug." - wikipedialandnation
So just a swing and a miss by whoever discovered it. Teh giant balls are still quite the mystery. Clearly I like saying giant balls.
The Ica Stones were actually proven false after a four year investigation by a one Vicente Paris. Dunno bout the others, I may yet look them up.
