In addition to my thread over at CONCEPTS in 3D (http://www.conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=11698) I thought I'll bung these up. somes polygon friendly concepts for Battle Engine Aquila (http://www.battleengine.com/flash.html). not all of 'em made it to the game. You know the score - Its only till now Ive been allowed to show them.

hope you like.

An intentional part of the design was for hard edges as the opposing side was more sleeky, smooth. colours for both sides (red Vs blue) also intentional as universal recognition for bad Vs good - all important factors for a fast paced game where you have to identify units in seconds.

more from the same game - less time on these. No prizes for guessing the apc influence :)

Super-cool! Excellent design work for low-poly targets- that kind of thing always drives me crazy. Me love curves! I'd love to see those walkers in motion

Thanks for the compliment. I hope to bung an AVI on my site of the Battle Engine opening up soon - that was a nightmare to work out as I deliberately made sure it was plausible (i.e no morphing!)

Funny - snice I posted this thread - Ive now been made redundant! so if anyone is interested in hiring me, feel free to drop me a line. check my website for brief details of experience. I'll be happy to send my CV/resumé.

Of course this also means I'll be updating my website as soon as i can. Just busy gathering work for it right now, as I have a few local interviews lined up already.

thanks
Jez.
