Hello all,

First time poster and virgin reader. I am the CEO of a small indie studio based out of Jacksonville, Fl. We currently have a staff of 18 sweat equity paid modellers, programmers, riggers and musicians. We have a need for a concept artist or two to cover 25 pieces. below is some of our original concept art.

Our current artist is very busy doing our ships concepts.We need 2 people to cover environmental and character art. If you would be interested email info[a t] digi-roar [dot] net. The art director will send you a simple art test which will consist of a color palette ,a piece of prepro and a description of the piece.We are looking for digital artists. post questions in this thread or to the above address. our website is being designed right now and maybe in various states over the next few weeks but it can be seen here:

I'm quite interested but I'd like some information as to what the concepts are for. What the game is about etc..

The game is set in the future, it is a FPS.

The environment concepts will cover a range of space stations, asteroid fields and nebulae.

The character concepts will be around each of the 3 unique character races.

we have a 24mb Design Document a very skilled and dedicated team. we are using the Unity engine. We hold our IP close to heart and is protected by NDA and IP assignment. We are willing to work with the artist on usage rights of generated and derivative works. Here are some of Digital environment concepts.

Wow! great work guys, what 3d program would you be using and could you tell a bit more about the races among the different factions?

We use a combination of photoshop and maya for most of our work.

we have 3 unique races 2 of human origin and the other is alien. more will be revealed as we update the projects site.

If it is I could be interested, I just finished some concept for a game similar in style to yours. I especially do character and costume designs.

Work for profit, this vehicle is a negotiation on the hourly base amount you would like to make per hour. This amount is then the amount you would receive from the sales of the game. We track this time very closely. This is the most popular vehicle we have as it has provisions to allow the artwork to be used in a portfolio, and limited Intellectual Property license is assigned back to the author of the work for later reuse.


we have listed in the non-paying jobs section per the instructions in the FAQ. We still require a small art test for all people interested.
