Phew, im done.
Had to rush it really bad because I realised I wont be able to draw tomorrow.
You can see background and demon warrior are rushed.
Got everythings mixed up, first I wanted "cartoony" or "comic" like style then I got this...eheh :bashful:

Sorry Blaz, but i ran into some personal problems at home, I'm asking you to push the deadline a bit (until the 13th), so I can at least submit something. I understand if this is impossible though. Judges if this isn't ok then I might just have to forfeit. You're final looks absolutely awesome btw! Nice Job!

they're both rad, jake has his guy at the left side of the page, looking left, makes it seem like a closed area but the large sky in the background leaves me wondering what hes(shes?) looking at. I think you could've displayed stealthy in different ways, this looks like the character is prepared rather then trying to act. Proportion wise its pretty solid, the arms are its only fault, not to sure whats going on with either one, maybe theres some sticky stuff its trying to whipe off? :-D
blaz yous is full of stiff action, and is sadly (basically) all one value range which comes off a bit flat. (im trying to learn how not to do this now aswell so i cant help yah there) I wonder how that guy even landed that punch, he's freakin blind! :-D I think if you were to paint this again, you would rock it with some different poses, but im going to have to vote for jake :-D

Jake, I agree with Blaz, your progess is remarcable, i've been geting familiar with the stuff you been doing since i joined concept art and there's huge improvement!
i like your piece's overall composition =)
Blaz: The only thing that doesn't convince me on your painting is your character's gesture.. it doesn't seem like it is really punching his oponent hard... but you must know it already... i guess the lack of time on this headhunters 48h battles justifyes any kind of those "not so good" things on the drawings
kewl battle!

This was a fun one! Congrats Blaz!
I'm sorry for being late with my entry.
Thanks for all of the compliments. I've been working very hard and trying to improve as much as possible. These 48 hour challenges have been helping a lot actually.
Sure Alex, I wouldn't mind dueling at some point. You seem to like fighting teenagers. :P

Yay first head! :D
I have to say awesome work Jake!
Only reason you didnt get votes is probably because you didnt show the actual fight (plunging the knife into belly), because quality of your entry is far better than mine.
I have to agree with everyone who put comment. Yeah my rendering still sucks, the gesture isnt convincing, the fist looks odd....quite childish xD.
Now, Alti, you just have to update the Headhunters list, cause you probably didnt see me signing up in the topic...
