University Requirements in general

People keep telling me to look up the requirements for universities but I've been having troubles looking up that kind of information.
But still, what could an art institute/university actually require?
What you need is talent, good portfolio, art 11 - 12? , and basic language, or english 12
,right?

i need someone to open my eyes on this topic please :)

if you are in High School. Go to the college advisement office and they should have books containing the requirements of all colleges in the US as well as statistics on the currently enrolled students.
If you are not in High School call the colleges admissions office and ask.
