Hi im new to the Forums, and I LOVE the drawings I see here. Im 16 and going to HS. I like to do Chararcter design and somewhat landscapes. But Im not sure what kind of paper is best for drawing concept, Ive been thinking thicker paper, like thicker then printer paper but less then construction haha. I also cant seem to find a good type of pencil to work with. Ill have some drawings scanned in a couple days maybe and you guys/gals can take a look. I also want to get into coloring some of my work with photoshop but I definately suck at that! =). If you have any answers to my questions please answer them =)
Thanx

For starters, a relatively cheap solution would be...
11x14 Canson Sketch Paper
Staedtler Drawing Pencils
Once you become comfortable in the medium and your stuff gets better, go ahead and buy more expensive paper from Strathmore (Non-Recycled).

You may find this usefull, though it is for a more specific form of concept art usually refered to as "Industrial Design".
You may or may not be familiar with Feng Zhu. If you are not, after reading about his materials, I'd highly recommend a look around his site.
