I think its good in its way, very graphic style especially when scrolling down on a small moniter screen, has got that neat perspective effect ^^

I like these, a departure from your usual rendered stuff. I really like what youre doing with the long shadows of the figures, it could be a powerful effect.
As is i think that its too hard to make out that that is in fact what it is though, especially in the second one. Maybe clean it up a bit? that might defeat your whole point...but thats my thought.
cheers

Very cool. I like the silhouettess, exaggerated shadows, and the loose brush strokes keep the compositions fresh. It's simple, lots of commercial possibilites. Maybe add a third color to emphasize areas of interest? But I'm not even sure it needs it. Good stuff, please post more of these.

I had no problem understanding these images. I feel they read well. I like this style. Your other syle is also amazing. I like your other style better, but these are great.

hey man great work, but honestly id like to see u represent some other aspects of hip hop besides graph, i used to break and id love to see something incorporated but i love all ur work, anything u paint or draw is gold, and i love how u represent hip hop, its a dying culture.

Loose, yet graphic. Has a slight Ralph Steadmanisc feel to the spattered black against color.....underlying a traditional scratchboard look. Its the drawing that holds work like this together. keeping it loose but accurate is the hardest part. Notice the perspective of the walls that the figures are spraying on..... we shouldn't notice thier tendency to flatten out.
I will say I do like em.
Everything you do will bleed into your other work. be it mark, approach or intentions. Having multiple styles can only broaden your appeal.

took another pass at em. refined and reworked a few areas. thanks for the positive feedback.
scumble fish: thanks man. glad you're feeling these. its fun trying something new, and seeing how my conventions work within this context...
gasmask : i've been meaning to do some other element pieces, but i'm biased....i'll try to do something with a bboy soon...glad you like...
c0g: thanks
Groover McNab: word. i'm trying to limit my pallete to two colors and black just to fuck myself, and keep me from relying too much on color...i'm glad you see the commercial possibilities in this. i'm trying to develop my design sence a bit more lately, and this is a good exercise.
ChaosEidolon: yeah, the second one is pretty rough. i took your advice, but didnt wanna go too clean, as i like the grittiness...
ShawnYe: thanks...

Really honest....I liked the first ones better.
Showed em to a friend of mine who´s a real nightcrawlin bomber. Armed with at least two cans all the time and he flipped. I´m anoxious to see what his next pieces will look like.
Back to critics, the rasterpoints take away the natural flow and the feeling of the night. The lighter green of the first came of better..........I think.
But cool anyway. I really really really like the graphic style.

The fact that you are diverse as shit, makes me wanna cry!
I have no idea from where you take the courage to experiment that much. It takes elephant balls to reduce your skills to this level, underestimate yourself, but still do a fuckin good job. So many artists are too proud of their style and skillset, that they seldomly take other routes. You do!
RESPECT!

The tone on the second one works well, but I dont think it works as well on the first piece. The first one is strong enough as an image without it. Either way, they're nice...

Very nice graphic experiments. The first set has a very graphic and simple approach. The colors for the first one work great. I don't like the second one that much, it has some dirty qualities too it. I see that you fixed it, and added the zip( i think thats what its called) tone and now it looks way better. I could go either ways on the first one, with and without it.
Great work as always:thumbsup:!

I think the first one looks good with the ziptone and the second one is a little less successful. Also I prefer the colors of the first version of the second one, the bright green and orange would make a really striking printed piece.

thank you to all who replied! i didnt expect the feedback to be so positive on these.
Groover McNab: yeah, i think i'm gonna revert to the first one with the orange and green. thanks.
BARONTiERi: thanks
bRyaN: awwww shucks...thanks alot man. i try to break my conventions as much as possible. it keeps it refreshing.
Franz Steiner : yes i sure did! glad ya like'em.
morbidhumor/ Loga4 / I.was.ink /jmascho: thank you all for your kind and encouraging werdz...
marko: haha! thanks, bro! you know, one of the things i strive for artistically is diversity. i'm constantly trying to break my habits and try new things. its a blessing and a curse, as i dont have as much of a discernable style as some, but i get so fucking bored doing the same thing too much, i have to experiment so i wont go crazy....i'm glad you appreciate it, your feedback means alot...
bbwolf: thanks, nice to hear the graffiti kids are feeling these. i had to call one of my friends i paint with over today to get his reaction. ya gotta appeal to the purists, ya know?
and here is one i did today. i like this one the best so far. lemme know what y'all think.-c36

Damn. That's badass. The white really adds a lot. Only thing (which is really getting nitpicky) is that the building on the right is a little too clean compared to the one on the left, but I do recognize that they are different types of buildings so that might have been your intent. The composition is great, nice lines. I'll have to try this style out :D

hey bean, this work is fantastic. it is peaceful yet energetic all at once. very smartly put together and brave!
i like your line work by itself rather than the zippotone effect. i think it detract from energy in your work.
