this is my new sketchbook. My goal is to have a distinct style and mood in this one and to experiment with different effects. I'm working with a limited color palette of 4 different kinds of ink. Your two pennies would be greatly appreciated.

Cool sketch! I wasn't expecting to actually see an axe in the first post! The scratchiness really works with the subject I think. I look forward to seeing the style applied to more pieces!

A little Watts Atelier but mostly Community College. I have to pull my own weight for the most part. I do have to say Watts taught me allot real fast. CC is a good example of getting what you pay for.

You've got a shitload of style! Really dynamic stuff going on, something I'm trying to more of in my own work. I'd like to see how you handle ink. Keep it up, I'll definitely be on the look out for updates.

Hey, neat stuff. I like the brown-paper sketches with the red ink, you get some great effects that way!

This is some really cool stuff here. I love how sharp and angualar it is. It just screams aggression (All the red helps too)!

I'm syked to see this sketchbook is still getting props. I regret to say this sketchbook was lost to a fire:( last spring. I do have to say it was the coolest sketchbook I've ever had. No other sketchbook would be the same.

Sheesh, coming into my threads with threats and insults... it's like you're my angry stalker ;P Better do the same...

'Cept, I dun wanna. Well, kinda, part of me thinks it'd be a vicious comeback to say something like "It was fate that it got burned, protecting us from the horror", but more seriously I'm enjoying your style and it really is a shame it got burned.

Not sure how to describe it, but it feels kind of hard and jarring to me, but in a really good way. Love the expressions you have on everything as well and the stylization. Post more dude! =)
