Hi,

My name is Michael Sean Bergland, I'm new here.

I've been drawing Seriously since I was 18 going on 40 now.

I thought I'd start my sketchbook off with a Story-Board since this is my biggest goal in life, carrer wise.

Heres a set of samples I did for submissions for a local company called Studio B Productions, here in Vancouver BC Canada

It was broken down into 3 Sequences.

Heres some different inking tools I like to use

The first was sketched with Faber Castell Artists pen while laying back on the couch. Picked up a cool book with loads of picks of reptiles and insects and other invertebrates. Tried to give them a humanoid feel (aside from the fury guy in the 1st pick in the top left corner...I have no clue where he came from.)

that turned into armor head pieces

This castle structure was done with the same pens and a set of greyscales(pens) on 2ply bristol board.

Second An idea I was working on for a challenge at IFX...He's a stemplant worker. The theme was Steampunk.
