Hey ppls.. i havent really posted any of my work on here before. probably because i dont think im good enough. but i felt like posting this one. The original looks better.. i think i was too hasty while scanning. But anyways i was testing these new prismacolor markers out.. they are called "cool greys" and they seem to have a lot of alcohol in them because they bleed.. well they bleed on the paper i used. I havent ventured to bristol board yet.. wanted to test these babies out. Well without a moment to spare

Not a bad piece of work, looks a bit like a piece of machinery from an rpg called Rifts. Cool greys have been around for a while and are fun to play with and very convincing with practice. I would try bristol or marker layout paper if I were you. The marker bleed is from using the wrong paper and will shorten the lifespan of the marker itself.

thanks.. and ya i know its not the kinda paper i wanna use. I just wanted to see if i even want to use these pens in the first place. but now that i know how much i like em.. im gonna keep using them. Just hopefully not on computer paper :D

get some bristol or marker sketch pads. a cheaper option is heavier cover stock paper that you can find at staples or office depot.
