I don't know if I should post my old drawings because I'm hoping to make some new polished drawings. I need to start somewhere and with something. Sometimes I know I don't have what it takes because even if a person has the skills they also need the self-motivation and determination to really be an artist rather than a person with art as a hobby.
I think I tend to move around perhaps too much or not have enough focus.My art is never really one thing or one style, one day I could be sketching realistic portraits then the next day doing rather comic/manga inspired doodles. I should probably find something to stick to for awhile.

This was my last "doodle", I don't know what brought about it. I guess just some random sketching. I've been somewhat into using this blue liner pen for inking as opposed to traditional black lining. I'm not sure what else would become of it.

I'm not too happy with this, I guess because of the anime influence in art these days and how hard it can be to break habits. I do like the coloring and clean lines and use of screen tones. Screen tones are really amazing things, perhaps I should attempt more realistic art with the usage of screen tones.

I just found this randomly and decided to link it here, it was for a class but there's nothing remotely amazing about it and the fish could have been so much better. Even in the style that they are in the colors seem to be really muddy. Rather sloppy on my part.
