I'm thinking of subscribing to an art mag...but there are so many.
My main medium I would like it to be mostly focused on is drawing. Not so interested in 3d art ( pottery, and such).
The best one I found so far is American artist, but maybe someone here knows better ones.

Yah, I occasionaly read american artist at the library, but I just wish I could find a magazine strictly for the student, with lots of stuff about drawing and painting.

Personally, I took a liking to DRAW! magazine... Hard to find though, Tower Records only stocks them.

I second DRAW! magazine, check out the website HERE (http://www.drawmagazine.com/). Focus is on comics and animation, with lots of drawing tutorials every issue. It's published 4x a year, and VERY sporadically. But it's worth the wait. I'd suggest subscribing to it so you don't have to keep making trips to the comic store. Or you can check the message board for when each issue is finally sent to stores if you don't want to subscribe.
You said you want to find a mag on mostly drawing, but there aren't that many to choose from. If you're also interested in painting and how to use color, check out The Artist's Magazine. I subscribe, and look forward to every issue (after reading the current one cover-to-cover). I have a hard time with color theory and the articles are helping me. I also want to improve my crappy painting "skills" and it helps me with that as well. They also have articles on drawing almost every month. Check it out HERE (http://www.artistsmagazine.com/).

I got a great mag for you guys. If you guys pick up the October issue of american artist, you'll see on the first page an intro to their new magazine: American artist drawing: Where they will have:
" A comprehensive list of books, videos, and courses for students of all ages.
"Instruction on handling form, perspective, and composition"
"Details on classical approaches to drawing plaster casts and models"
"advice on working from life or from phtographs"
And it keeps going on in the advertisement. You can order the premier issue throught their site @ www.myamericanartist.com Plus this issue has some great life drawings. A must buy for all artists!
Now go pick it up!:)

So...would this be a monthly deal, or just a one-time thing?
American Artist drawing certainly sounds nice..

I read Draw! and Sketch. American Artist and the Artist Magazine are periodicals I only buy sporadically. While the American Artist Draw magazine sounds interesting, I will skip this as about a year or so ago they had two drawing issues that I did buy that were excellent, and then they published a book with a lot more information. Realistically, they can only 'get you started' so many times before you take off on your own. Most of the best drawing articles I have found in the Artist's magazines are actually the smaller ones that don't dwell on the theory and just get you to draw with excellent examples.

Jim Vandecour's "Images" distributed through Bud Plant's Illustrated Books (http://www.budplant.com)gets my seal of approval. It collects classic illustration for which the rights have expired and reprints them with the highest possible print quality.
It's not cheap, but there's some killer stuff in there including some drawing/painting/watercolor tutorials from classic illustrators that I'd bet you'd be hard pressed to find anywhere.
Plus rare stuff from the guys you know like Leyendecker, Wyeth, Pyle, Parrish and others you may not yet. There are no ads, and there is no filler material. It's all top notch stuff. I highly recommend it to anyone who likes good drawing and imagination (which ought to be just about everyone on this site).
