well how do you make a site? i have an account but what next? (im a total newb to making websites)

First you have to build a site (geocities, etc...) and then you can have instead

www.whatever.cjb.com.

and that’s it really.

As far as I know they don’t offer you any web space.
It’s all crap.
Maybe I’m wrong…

Blackrose : so you got an account on cjb ? How much space do you have ? Do you want to build your website or just store images there that you can display on forums ? or both ?

If you want you own website, you're going to have to either find an HTML editor or learn a bit of coding yourself. I use Dreamweaver but I'm sure there are other programs out there that are more user-friendly for beginners... Anyone ?
When you're done with your offline site and html pages, you'll probably have to upload them by FTP in your account - or perhaps cjb has a web based interface for account managing...
