Hi, I've been around CA for some time now and I must say I have been slacking with any posting. but hopefully that will change now.
Please check out my newer stuff, it's much better.
A little bit about myself! I'm learning to be an animator, although i'm veering more towards the traditional side of it, i.e design and backgrounds :P I like to sketch in pen and I love watercolour.
I know my anatomy isn't great right now, but I'm working to improve that :d
Thanks for looking!

i like the watercolour/inks but my actual favourite would be the towerblood image, the colours are really vibrant and attractive to the eye.

You know that actually came about because I had some paint left over and I hate wasting paint, so I dipped my fingers in it and made marks on a page, and then went over it in markers.... you coud say it was a happy accident :D
So some sketches of life drawing and a concep sketch I did.

Ooh~ I love your environments most of all.
I'd love to see some of your anatomy studies add more to your stylized drawings, too. The Teen Challenge one looks as if it were a bit rushed compared to the anatomy of your studies.
Keep it up~ Your sketchbook is looking great so far~

Hello Betty! Greetings from a fellow [1st Year] Student Representative. Francis here. Came across your profile and wanted to say hello. Love this website - does a great job of providing masses of inspiration and aspiration, while at the same time quashing my work and reminding me how much I have to do!
I really like your environmental sketches here. Those watercolours and washes look like fantastic pages. Nice layouts as well. The self-portrait is admirable, and I can confirm it looks like you :). I wanted to get one done that day but time slipped away from me. Trying to learn to digitally paint a portrait atm; tough, but exciting and addictive. Do you do a lot of digital work?
See you soon in the studio!

Love the chair designs, they have such character! Your self-portrait looks great too; my only crit is that it's a bit dark. It feels like even your highlights are in the middle value range, and you could make the piece pop more if you were covering the full value range. Keep posting and keep up the good work! ;)

Hi!
PM sand to you. Hope we will be able to work together. We do have completely different styles, but I think that if you are really willing to work on this one together, we can make some great stuff.
Love your whimsical style, and your portrait is great as well. I actually like the darkness, but I think your characters, and their anatomy need more work. The style you draw them in is stylised, I know, but doesn't look as special and appealing as your other stuff. The fishcharacters are great! :)
Also the grandpa with the two guns: Awsome.

I'd love to team up :D
I think my main problem is I like to draw to hyper real, I need to take a step back a bit sometimes and think simple :p
@ phoenicorn Thanks!

You got some really nice stuff here. Really diggin the new ones and I recognised Annecy immediatly so thumbs up for those as well.
For the pirate lady swinging, perhaps if you put more of a curve (the hips thrust formard, feet follow) into the character it'll feel more like swinging.
Keep it up.
