Hi:
I've been painting with Photoshop CS2 and Painter for a year now and I need some help. My weak points are value, color theory, and problems with blending. The blending issues I have are the painting either comes out too blurry or too greasy. The look I'm trying to achieve is semi photo realistic. I'd say 90% of the blending trouble is that I rely on the smudge tool too much. When I try overlapping colors with the brush on low opacity it still doesn't come out right.
