There's been a lot of talk about this on the forums, especially lately. This article was posted today and although it mostly HR fluff, perhaps some of you might find this article insightful, or at least entertaining.

I was surprised that the interviewed unanimously mentioned doing PR at the GDC. Building relationships and having good social skills wasn’t the shocker but that it’s specifically targeted at the GDC. Which is sooooon!

Well, after walking into an interview and having the HR lady ask me:"Didn't I see you at MIGS?" I'm sure PR at conventions helps. I'd add the IGDA and other conventions to that.

On another note, I found page 7 about choosing a study program very enlightning.
