I actually wrote a paper on the evolution of drum'n'bass a few years ago and two-step was mentioned somewhere...:)

one of my fav. 2-step tune:
Zoom & DBX - Coming again

maybe try slip'n'slide
though my info may be outdated...

why don't you ask your brother? i heard that he knows a few people. :waves: :p

i really don't like Dizzee Rascal but the streets are bad ass.

imo: M.J. Cole is the master of 2 step

ahh Davi yahoo me, 2step is a dying genre.....it was pretty strong about 2 years ago but has dwindled into a faster uk garage kind of rap. :(
i have several mixes from the past couple of year ya might like.

some classic artists of the genre are

Artful Dodger
MJCole
Todd Eldridge
Wookie (whom also goes under the alias Xemen)

If you dig Massive Attack, check out Substanz T (pick up the song "place cells" first)... other than that I've always been a huge fan of Tricky's Maxinquaye.

If you like Streets and Dizzee Rascal, you're basically talking about UK garage & UK hip hop. Dizzee Rascal is new, but check out the So Solid Crew and Oxide & Neutrino albums... they're good too. Lisa Maffia from So Solid has some solo stuff too, but I haven't heard it. For hip hop, you could check out Roots Manuva and DJ Skitz, but that's going a bit further afield. Oh yeah, and I definitely think you'd like 'Oi' by More Fire Crew.

anything on the NINJATUNE (http://www.ninjatune.net/ninjashop/) label is going to be sick.

Dj Food can't be beat for your listening pleasure,
