Hey folks, after 2 and a bit months/574 cups of tea, here he is;
Fox Mcloud as seen in the new Nintendo Super Smash Brothers Brawl game.
He is just over 7 inch tall including base and made using sculpey + acrylics.
This is my first post anywhere and I'm really keen to hear what you all think, likes and dislikes.

I've also got tonnes of WIP pics, if you guys are interested I'll put them in some sort of order and get them up.
Really would appreciate any comments, thanks for looking!

Good eye-coloring - nice sculpting - love it.
You have a lot of very well made folds in his jacket and trousers, have you considered using some darker colours for picking out the 3d structure in these folds?

Thanks to all for your lovely comments :}
Aseyngl: I started putting in shadows but found I was 'faking it' too much, the ref pic has nice soft shadow and i found the light to catch it pretty well.
However I've now been staring at him 'finished' for a day now and can see some changes I can improve on, this may be an area I return to.
So as promised here follows a huge dump of WIP pics.Moved, scroll down :)
You can see my methods are strange, just grabbing what was to hand with zero budget.
This is my first sculpt from reference and only my third one ever. I'm using Fox as a portfolio piece and learning tool. Boy If i knew then, what I know now, oh well......enjoy!

Aw rats, I can't read that itty bitty text. I like those notes though and overall the project is fascinating to watch from start to finish. How much tea do you drink anyway?

Wow, love this!
I think you have managed to retain lots of the original character.
Sculpts great, colours etc.
Any chance you could re-post your progress shots with abit more resolution, It's such a shame I can't read the comments!.
You gonna do ALL of the other characters then? ;)

Hope they read better!!
Wetterschneider I dont bleed tea yet, so the answer is, I don't drink enough!!! :]
Monkiilord Am I gonna do them alll? Hmm I'd love to, but I'd need sponsorship for the voloume of materials!!!! Besides how many characters are there now anyway??
Fovos Thats easy dude but looks way more tricky.-Flat wire bent to shape, hole drilled in his head, cut clear plastic shapey and apply superglue.
Again sorry about the messy thread, just getting the hang of this new world of web.
Thanks for all you comments guys I'm stoked about doing my next one :)

GREAT JOB!!! He looks so cute! I like how you pointed out that you had to redo the head and some other things to get them right. Reworking details until they're right is what makes a sculpture great. Did you say it took you only two months to finish him? I applaud your quick sculpting skills! Something like this would take me anywhere from 6 months to a year!

Do Falco! LOL, well now that you mention it...... :)
Cryogenesis: Yeah I had to do loads, this was my first go at something like this, fair to say not all went to plan.
I reckon I've got a good method now so I'm hoping to halve my working time. Fingers crossed.
Thankyou for the comments, keep em coming, doing a portfolio so requests welcome, the more good work I do, the happier I'll be.
Now I think I hear the kettle boiling.......

I am not familiar with the character, but he looks very good to me. His coat is outstanding. Very foxy.
Nice work.

Ah man, takes me back. I'm instantly remembering asteroids with faces on them and barrel rolls. You really nailed it; the paint job, the gesture, the sly look on his face. Good stuff.
