Alright I have been looking through the forums for awhile. Havent posted any of my work yet..but I have been working on this for a couple days. Its for my sister, on her 21st birthday.

Nothing spectacular but, it just suits her. I wouldnt mind some feedback.

A lot of people have been saying they cant see the girl riding the fly, but I am not quite sure what else to do. So I think I am going to leave it as is. I did only one dragonfly, and then put 4 different colorations in the final image. I like the way they fit together.

Any comments would be appreciated, thanks.

I suggest u work at a higher resolution for better details. I also suggest u look at pictures of a dragonfly fo accurate anatomy.
If u'd put some kind of texture on the background (ground) and maybe in a different color u could easier show that the dragonflys wings are transparent.
And try working with a single lightsource.

I actualy looked at quite a few pictures of dragonflys before hand..but since there are so many different kinds of dragonflys, none of them were alike. I decided to go with just what I felt was the best representation, or general idea of a dragonfly.

The original was done in blue (the top left) as my sister has quite an obsession with the color.

The original document was pretty high resolution, but as time grew short I left out any serious detail..and left it as just looking brushed.

If you could elaborate on where the light sources appear to be coming from I would be greatful. I only meant for there to be one which should be coming from above, in front and to the left. So please help me get rid of the other(s).
