Hi everyone
My name is Wes Abrams. I created the site ToonLifeOnliine.com (http://www.toonlifeonline.com). The Newest part of the site is ToonArtist (http://toonartist.ning.com). It is an online social community for Artists to communicate and share their artwork. I just wanted to invite everyone to go check it out and hopefully upload some of your artwork. So if you get a chance check it out.

Thanks

Wes

ToonLifeOnline (http://www.toonlifeonline.com) along with The ToonArtist (http://toonartist.ning.com) part of the site is a family friendly site, so what do you think? If that is what these forums are about then I think I posted this on the wrong site.

You can share any artwork that is family friendly. So no nudity, foul language or anything like that. As long as you would be comfortable showing a 5 year old it then it should be ok to share on ToonArtist (http://toonartist.ning.com).

Well, this place is just about packed to the rafters with mental five-year-olds, so i don't think there'll be a problem, Toonlife'...

So nobody here has any family friendly artwork they would like to share at ToonArtist (http://toonartist.ning.com)? My wife has taken over the site. So there are a few changes. I would love to see some of the artwork by users on this forum over there. If anything else just submit them to get them rated. If you get a chance atleast check it out.

Thanks

heres a very blunt answer ::

it closely resembles myspace. its cheap looking. it has no noticeable relation to art or artists at all. most artists dont like censorship, either.

they're making fun of you because you chose to advertise on a real art site in a forum about real art discussions.

stop wasting your time and move on.

You also have to offer something that people can't already get at a million other sites already.

...and change the eye-bleedingly bad color scheme.

not to mention the amateur layout and difficult navigation.

"that website is like so totally 1998"

Thanks for all the replies. Every single question I had about this forum has just been answered. I wanted to see if this forum is right for me. I want to find people who enjoy artwork like I do. You know the normal kind. I mean lets face it, look at the smilies I have to choose from. I have people asking me if they can basically submit cartoon porn. This obviously isn't the right forum for me. I'm looking for people to communicate with that are actually artists. I haven't gotten one reply on here from anyone asking me to even check out any of their stuff on any other website. I'm just looking to check out some actual artwork. I thought maybe by asking people to submit their FAMILY FRIENDLY stuff to my site I might actually get to see something worth looking at. Of course I was wrong. But that is fine. It is kind of sad but thats ok. If their are any actual artists and not just sick twisted people I would love to check your stuff out. You don't have to share it on my site. Actually I prefer you don't. My wife runs that site now. I gave her control of it. So sorry about the horrible colors. I like them, she likes them. What is the big deal. It is art to her. It is no different than the perverted stuff some people on here think is art. I just thought I would help her out by trying to get some artist to share stuff over there. But I have forgotten how sad this world is. So once again I seriously want to thank everyone here who has posted something. You have confirmed everything I thought.

Thanks
