I'm not entirely sure if this is the best place to go but if the mods could kindly move this if nessessary, that's all fine by me.

Anyway, introduction. I'm new here, my username is JennyM, obviously my name is Jenny. I'm a student currently taking a BA Honors in Games Design in Norwich, England. It's a really fun course (though it did start a little slow.) I'm very, very enthusiastic about games and my favourite games are Ratchet and Clank series, Jak and Daxter series, Kingdom Hearts series and basic platform games in general. When I leave the course in 4 months times I hope to be a Character Designer or Storyboard artist because these are my main strong points.

I've come here to Conceptart.org because I thought it was time for a little change. I have an account on DeviantArt but I'm not exactly proud of it (it's mainly got fanart and whatnot, don't think you'll be interested). The thing is I already know what DA thinks of me but I thought it would be awesome to see what the experts here think of my work. I recently bought myself a sketchbook to encourage me to do some life drawing and teach myself some new tricks. You'll see some of my work later on probably in the SKETCHBOOK section, so it would be really awesome if you could take a look at it. I'm here to get some professional feedback and learn som new tricks and to improve my artstyle, because in my opinion I think DA has encouraged me to stick with my current style for the past 3 years or so and nothing much has changed in my art style. At the same time I'll repay the favor by checking out your works :).

My favourite art programmes to use are Photoshop and Open Canvas, though I'm currently learning Painter X. I also love watercolours, markers and Prismacolor pencils. I'm a very messy person when it comes to producing traditional work and hopefully you'll see sometime in the future ;).

Thank you very much for your time and I hope to see some of you around soon ;).

Jenny, out.

Hey! Welcome to CA! My name is Andrea, nice to meet you Jenny! Lol Not a lot of people know about Opencanvas, I was excited to see you use it! I think it's great for doing line art. Post a link to your sketchbook when you can? :)

That would be awesome! What version do you own?

I use OC 4.0, surprisingly not many people I know use it. One of my friends I do know though has a higher version and she's absolutely fantastic! She's on here as well but she doesn't use it often.

Personally I don't see why people I know who use it are nuts about OC 1 :\, it looks so confusing.

lol! I use 4.5, it works great! And the only reason I liked 1 was because of the networking ability, it's awesome to draw with your friends!

Haha I use it to draw for myself. Sadly the computer I use it on has no net connection, but that doesn't matter.

Aw, that's a shame, it's so fun! :D
I see you have a dA? Mind if I take a peek? Even if your not proud of it, I'd still love to see your work :)!

Yeah I do but don't expect to find anything original, like I said, it's mainly fanart and I'm here for the original stuffs :\.

Here you go! http://lionessb.deviantart.com/ If you like glowy things, check out my 'Flamen' series :).

And please don't mistake me for a Furry. Just thought I'd mention.

Haha, no one I'd think?

I hope I did well in introducing myself here, normally when I join forums I normally always introduce myself.

Your name is Jenny, so you must be a girl.
Girls are allowed in the girl's treehouse.
