I've been trying to pry myself away from 3d for a little while and scratch the rust off my 2d skills. and WOW do I suck, I've been drawing piles and piles of crap, oh my GOD :grumble: .
Still there are a few that sucked slightly less than the majority, so I'm posting those. ENJOY :chug: and thanks to all you guys for the inspiration.

pretty solid stuff
however i find your faces to be overley elongated making them seem unrealstic at times. apart from that a bit more contrast and color depth may aid your coloring :P

Look! Another person that sucks! Why does everyone keep saying they suck. Good grief.
I like your work and I like your elongated faces. Realism is overrated. I like seeing the artist, as well as the subject...and it comes through in your work.

hehe I suppose self deprecation is a little overused among artists. Hard to avoid... the better I get the more I dispise my old work and the easier it is to dismiss the work of less-practiced artists. So I can only assume that the real art-gods posting on this forum look at my work and laugh histerically.
All the same I did like these sketches, (beleve me there were plenty not worth posting) but I do need to pay more attention to facial proportion and color. It's fine if I'm doing something intentionally, but if it's just sloppy that's no good.

Well, if they do that...then they are not art gods.

Well, yes I was exaggerating... they aren't neccesarily assholes just because their good.
But being good means getting pretty decerning visually, it's hard not to see the mistakes and improvements that could be made in your own and other peoples work.
