I need someone willing to do a small drawing for me. I cannot offer much and the project is a community project so funds are low.
What I am looking for is a gramaphone cone connected to a box that has some vials, coils, and an antenna or two. It is being used for a steampunk project called Aethercast.
If your interested in this project feel free to email me at nicholas@threebhut.com
Thanks
Nick

I don't know if you'd be interested in a montage slash vectory type thing. I know it's not the brief, but I can't draw to save my life. Anyway, here's my attempt. The word Aethercast had AV connotations for me, hence the projector in there. I'm not sure if this is the kind of thing you had in mind, the image might be bit too Fallout-esque for something that's supposed to be steampunk. Let me know what you think?

I got some feedback on this image in another part of the forum; the consensus is I've strayed miles from your brief. Annoyingly, I'm inclined to agree. If my style's at all suitable though (sorry, I wish I could draw you something), I'd love to have a second go at this. I'm pretty busy for the next couple of days, but I think I can have something a little more Neo-Victorian (and functional looking) finished by the end of the week.

That is a most excellent looking device sir. Unfortunately as the feedback said it is off the mark for what I am looking for.
Here is something along the lines of what I am looking for. This is another photoshop job that has been completed and I am waiting on the artist to create a drawn version for multiple uses around the site including different images on the forums.
I want to say thank you for the effort you put into making that piece and it looks really neat and I know some people that I believe will appeciate the look of it.

Thank you very much for getting back to me, it is nice to get feedback on work, however redundant the piece may be. I'm glad you found an artist to complete the brief. I must admit, his device does seem infinitely more suitable for receiving and broadcasting of tele-audio transmissions.

The Aethercast Receiver is a device used to receive Aethercasts ( or more commonly known as podcasts) of the audio style only. If you are interested in what these Aethercasts are like feel free to visit www.madloveandco.com. We have released our first one this past weekend and are working on releasing our next one sometime soon, either this weekend or next week.
Thanks for the effort.
