Hey! Welcome. First of all let me say that for a first timer, you've really hit the ground running. These are a great start and you have some killer backgrounds and lighting effects. Congrats on that.
I would have to say that is is a lot of muddiness however. Areas which aren't as generalized as your backgrounds such as hands and helmet surfaces could benefit from a good cleaning-up. This is made even more obvious when contrasted against your geometrically strong backgrounds. Also, I think you color scheme on the first piece is a bit inconsistant. You have some cool dramatic purple lighting but the highlights on your characters seems white and the strong full lighting doesn't reflect the environment they exist in. I suggest studying some of El Coro's or Dodowa's stuff. They are environmental and compositional gods.
All in all though, great work. If you just started and you're already producing work like this, than it's scary to think of what you'll be doing a month from now. Good luck.

Thnx fr the kind words exo, appreciate it. As far as hitting the ground running goes, these are my first digital paint pieces, but I have ofcourse been drawing traditionally for a long time, aswell as 'normal' photoshop coloring, meaning the american dodge 'n burn comic way.....:D
Also thnx fr the comments on the lighting, I"ll try to do that better in my next pieces....ya also got a good point on the second piece, being the foreground nice 'n loose, and the background hard and squarish...kinda collides or sumthin.
Here's another piece that was done even before the previous pieces, but also with soome lighting problems I think....first did lineart on paper, which I digitally painted afterwards.
