Color in maya

I have maya and am not sure how to add color, anyone know a goodsite? thanks..

Well, if your just looking to add basic color to an object - going to the edit poly menu note: while in modeling mode - then scrolling almost all the way down intill you see color option<next click on the box< from there you now have the option of adding basic color to your image.:beer:
