so heres my sketches this is all analog paper and pencil work mostly done on the n.y.c. subway... so don't mind the smell

the names above the skeleton were some people who stopped me in the subway to ask if i was a designer, because the shirt i was wearing "looked like what a graphic designer might wear" then they asked me if they could take my name down so they would know if i ever became famous later...

gotta love the subway..

Lol at the subway - I come from a real quiet village in England, NYC subway must be a cool place to draw! Nice start to a sketchbook though, keep posting more from the subway! lol

thanks for viewing my first (online) sketchbook guys
glad you like it
another subway story...
one time i was drawing a man on the F train and he noticed me (witch is usually time to quit because people get nervous or fidgety when the see you sketching them, and they are not good models anymore). but one this came up to me,and got in my face, like he wanted to fight because he said i was sketching him " like i was the cops or something". I guess he thought i would bring my sketch to the police??. Like i cared who he was. he was rather paranoid looking though with dark shades and a baseball cap...

i havnt been posting so here are some quick scribbles to judge me on..this is photoshop stuff.
these are really quick wacom sketches.
One problem i have is that its hard for me to keep away from detail, so i did these to loosen up..
it looks really bad to see them so big though

it seems like as soon as i start sketching, if the picture looks like a sketch, i get discouraged and delete it. in an effort to correct this i will be spamming my own sketchbook with every little doodle i come up with, forcing me to recognize them. and maybe some comments will give me ideas of where to take them...

this is something i did in the graffiti application on facebook. im amazed at myself that i sat through the time it took to do this when i cant bring myself to take an image this far in photoshop. which has layers! maybe im approaching photoshop the wrong way..http://apps.facebook.com/graffitiwall/show_replay.php?rn=f543cf0092394b726f0d963f0af3d36 1
