This is my first post on conceptart.org, I was inspired by all the interview videos from the conference.

Last night I painted late into the morning instead of going to bed like I should have hahaa.

let me know what you think, I did it on a cintiq and Ive noticed it has very different color values then most other monitors so im a little afraid it will turn out unsaturated and lacking in contrast.

critiques are Very welcome !

hey, nice start to your sb here. :) It almost looks like a loose fashion illustration. The beaded streamers are a nice effect as well. What looks like it's supposed to be red is actually a dark red-orange, but it still gets the point across. I'd really like to see you push it further, if you aren't finished. Also, I know you just started your sb, but post some older work so people can see where your at with your artistic skill level.

I was at the Seattle workshop, and it was indeed amazing. I'm really happy they were able to podcast some of it to those of you who weren't able to make it. If you're really serious about being an artist, you should go sometime. :)

Hey man, looks good! Maybe work them out a little more. Put more effort into the details and they'll look a lot better I think (I'm talking here about the first 2 pics, the t-shirt designs look pretty awesome to me :)) . Maybe you need to work with a bigger image size..?

my first go at zbrush.. used an old mesh head i modeled in school.. wow that software is powerful.. on my cintiq it feals like its clay.. kinda creepy in a way..


also i put in a giraffe's! pic i did for my fiance as a tshirt for christmas.. i dont know why i did giraffe's but i guess there cute !
