This is such a nice comic style, and has such a firm grip on describing complex unified forms -- like sexfully excellent babes. ThomasM: oh thanks! I spent my entire life to draw, I drawn during lessons at school, on my diary, or directly on the maths books...I'm in love with art since I was a boy and I live for drawing, it's almost an addiction!
But the real big effort to improve myself, I've done over the past 7-8 years
, drawing each day for an hour at least, watching masters and concept artist, and showing my works, everywere on the net! You have some nice study in your sb keep it up! :) it's the right way!

bhanu:...you hit one of my big weak point...at art school, I dreamed of drawing comics in the future.
After school I attended a course on comics and illustration, one of the best here, but I soon realized it was a dificult road.
In Italy comics are considered second-class, for children...
There are very few publishers who hold the leadreship and there is no work.
Only a select few can enter, and I did not like.
The alternative was in europe, france, belgium ... but no less difficult.
In the end I decided to take different roads, but now I really want to try again ... who knows ... one day

Hello Danka,

Your work is very inspiring!
The facial expressions are incredible and you manage to draw characters in different situations with very little effort if non at all.

This shows a great deal of work, patience, skill and especially talent that have built into a one of the finest SB I have seen and for this I must congratulate you and give a 5*.

Dana T : I use many different sketchbooks, by classic moleskine, or a simple block of paper, to a notebook found in some shop in my hometown.
Sometimes friends bring me some strange sketchbok found here and there as a gift.
Usually I choose my sketchbook because I like the paper type or page size ...

nice update - got several neat and funny characters/creatures - and that weird fish/undead/alien guy with brains for hair and a question mark is a marvel.

& I mean inspirational in that I want to draw/paint things after I've been by as your work makes me dream of things to come from my own hand :P (and the dreams have shape, so it's not purely motivational but more then that).

Wonderful update - albeit I do thirst for more - anyway I was thinking and your excursions feel more always so playful and warm yet often on edge - I really like the character you put into your pieces and somehow it kind of reminds me of the Tiger Lillies (probably because I've been listening to them as of late and the cabaret feel of some of your pieces and the last top-hat - but nvm).

Lakai: for traditional drawing I use a pencils hb, and recently a double point red /blue pencil, some stabilo pens and a brush pen Pentel. Sometimes colors markers, magic markers and sphere pen.
For digitals works I use photoshop with base brushes, and a wacom tablet.

These very last girl sketches you posted are adorable.
Most of the time I'm really more into the deformed characters than marvel/comic proportions characters.
I wonder if you could give some marvel style a similar amount of emotional look.

shockowaffel: thanks, I think probably it's easiest to give a good attitude to a cartoonish character, than a realistic one.
