Hi there. Probably no one’s playing this game anymore, but I never posted for it. This is some of the concept art from Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle-Earth 2. These paintings appeared as stills in the cinematic cutscenes narrated by Hugo Weaving and featured some characters from the books that weren’t visualized in the films. Enjoy!

yew! really unique brush style, the distorted and stretched perspectives are great. The Arwen piece has a great likeness (ooh Arwen). Sweet stuff :)

I played the game for a good month or two, and enjoyed it but I wish it had a random map generator like the Age of Empires games, which would have added more replayability. At any rate I love these scenes. Great work!

The ringwraith profile is a powerful image - my favorite of the collection. Your artwork reverbrates to the core of response.
Keep doing you

Fantastic work, i rented the game when it came out, but i've never been good enough at RTS to see the cutscenes past the intro :}
the colors on the goblin/scorpion really pumps up the emotion on that piece, love it.

The one with the spiders all over it is just creepy. Shelob is enough for me thanks.
Love the Arwen and character stuff!

Favorite, you really nailed an interesting camera angle and nice transparency on the wings!

I love the subtle play of light on that 6th image. The Lord of the Nazgul leading his forces in the moonlight. Marvelous.

Long time since I played this game. Maybe I will again someday. It did have nice graphics based on some great concept art.
