very very cool. are you working on a piece of wood that's been planed smooth or are there any areas that have been carved in low-relief? Can you give us a shot where we can see the upper edge of the image (give a better idea of the compostion)? Do you have more?

If the wood burning is not quite done, then maybe it belongs in the WIP section.;) Setting that aside, I really like this piece and I think you executed it very well. I wish that I had the control that you have. Everything that I have tried with a wood burner looks like nothing compared to what you were able to do. You did a very good job representing light and shadow, and I love the texture. Would you mind telling me what this is for and the story (if any) behind it?

No relief just a piece of curly maple. There is a strange distorted wood pattern on the left side you can see. Also this is for a cd cover for our game sound track that Ill tell yall later once its out. Thanks for the comments.
