Hello for all.I'm new. I introduce myself, i'm Giacomo, in art Jack Nugget, I have 21 years and i live in flero a country of the Italy north in province of brescia.My passion is all that it can be defined art.I like to design, to represent the truth and its mutations, the fantasy and my dreams.
I know from some year this slendid site that offers the possibility to many artists to be confronted and to share the own one passion,and in order to increase the own abilities ; is for this reason that I wanted to give to a end of some my sketch,to receive some council, opinion on that I love to make every day.

For now I make sketches and some them port on corel painter in order coloring them and vanishing them but unfortunately I have only the mouse.i hope soon to succeed to take one graphical tablet.

Welcome Jack, it's nice to see you being so passionate about art and also starting a sketchbook, it's a great way to improve :)

You've got a nice sense of volume in those, despite being without shading. Your line is pretty confident in places, but still a bit inconsistant. I see you like drawing figures and creatures from your imagination, which is definitely a good thing, but if you're serious about improving, you might want to shelf that for a while. You'll hear this often, but drawing from life and studying human anatomy is the first step to improvement.

Keep posting then and show us your new drawings :)

Hello boys -- I have buy a graphical tablet bamboo fun, and first 2 hour i'm trying... here mine skatch..trying a lot the several techniques and paint-brushes because i don't know very well corel painter... I hope you can give many useful councils on this beautifulst program, example to me what to use in order to sketch and which technical to use in order to color.

Good start. All I can really suggest is more drawing. Right now it's just a matter of drawing as much as possible and asking questions. Study from life and always try to learn from what you are drawing.

I don't know a whole lot about digital media, but I think that a brush with a harder edge will help tighten things up. Keep an eye on your proportions and perspective, and keep on doing your thing.

i see you've been inspired by our very own Android Jones :) it's working out for you well. the best thing you can do as an artist is to emulate 3 masters. try to copy certain aspects of 3 seperate people's styles that you really like and can relate to, and you'll have come up with a style to call your own. better to do that than to emulate only 1 artist and become a carbon copy. i can see vast improvements already :)

hey there,
your sketches seem to have a lot more love going into them that your paintings, perhaps put more time into the paintings? Also, you use a bit of black in your paintings for the shadows that flatten them out a bit.

thanks andrew jones.you teaching great. your style is unique.mi are allowed to take to a little cue from some your techniques why of they are a lot fascinated.thank's also to the massive ones black and conceptart in order not to have allowed to disclose all that you are large!

they are sincere I have a lot wants to grow improve in the design and in its many shades therefore I put myself to the test and I take cue, I still try inspirations.i'm in the phase "to the search of the just true style".

Interesting stuff dude. One thing you should avoid is using the blur tool on ps because You work looks a little messy. When I was first started doing digitals with PS, I did the same thing. One way to avoid the blur look is by changing the opacity to blend colors together. Check out this thread, It is very helpfull. http://www.conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?t=107217

This is looking really good.
The first creature in post #63 reminded me of Wayne Barlowe's stuff.
You have some really cool ideas going on, keep it up.
I'd say though, do some anatomy studies too, it will help you make the creatures look more convincing.

buona fortuna per l'inizio della scuola di comics, sono sicuro che ti piacera'!

hai un immaginazione sviluppata e delle belle idee, ma sembra che tu abbia un po' di fretta nel "buttarle giu", mentre molti di questi lavori guadagnerebbero molto con dello sforzo aggiuntivo, della ricerca di riferimenti e da un piu' approfondito studio della costruzione di base (anatomia si, ma applicata dalle forme grandi e generali fino al dettaglio sempre "pensando in 3d"), in generale mi sembra ci sia un po' troppa fretta di passare alla pittura digitale sascrificando il disegno sottostante.
Sono sicuro che gia' nelle prime settimane ti si chiariranno alcune cose, tienimi aggiornato!

...hai colto appieno uno dei miei piu grandi problemi relativi al disegno....fretta, fretta , fretta...sopratutto nell'ultimo periodo in cui ho poco tempo da dedicarci....un'altro dei miei problemi e' la scarsa parsimonia, faccio fatica a riprendere in mano un lavoro piu volte, forse perche' il giorno successivo ho altre idee a cui dò erroneamente dò priorità...
