this is what i have in mind any thoughts or sugestions please say so

Im creating this because battle royale has apperently stoped... I loved the idea of the characters battling each other. But I want to give it a more game like feel. So i would like to start a story line which you can create an character and choose which side to be on
There will be a battle system (need help with designing it) and also a level up system.

no one person is limited to amount of characters they control but the story line inmvolving there character most be produced by creator

you are not limited to any race's

THE STORY

takes plkace in a midevil time line the rest is up to you

level will be rewarded to a death every time you when a battle you will level up...
Battles will be turn by turn fellow members will help decide the outcome

Character must have stats

name:
Race:
Side:
Story:
background:

THis is only for fun... feel free to help with plot or battle system THankz

Nice idea. But when I first saw the title, I hoped for like medieval fantasy - like Lord Of The Rings like.

By the way, is there any drawing roleplay on this site? It would be kinda fun.

I don't really know how I feel about this. The cool thing about the Battle Royale was that you could just basically do whatever you wanted.
The problem with Battle Royale, on the other hand, was that too many people made a character, and then we would never see them again.

Battle Royal was very unorganize, even though it was a fun idea! This one seems like a better idea. I'll join. I feel like in this one we can team up characters! Nice idea True Artist! (But enough with the post apacolypse!)

I have to agree. Also, the post apocalypse is a biiiit overused in my humble opinion. Would be fun with something else.

But I'll see if I can join.

Online D&D, I'm not firmiliar with D&D besides the artist, so you'll have to explain to me the gaming system and how we are going to work it in! I suggest we go fantacy, I'm tired of drawing gasmasks ( I drew six of them in them in the last challange). In the mean while I suggest we should draw our character or creatures and introduce them!

Well in d&d u have a duengon master which creates the level story line and so forth this will be left up to every one.. there battle's and your attack is decided by die will haft to figure out away to substitute and you level up by beating aponents... ill make this a sugestion bored and after we have it all figured out i make the acual game thread

I'm gonna have to advice to try and steer clear of things like D&D and Pendragon and so on.

I've played quite a bit of both over email and it's well... Boring, to say the least. Not only that, but there are way too many rules for someone who is already drawing to learn.

My suggestion is to use the KISS term.
Keep
It
Simple and
Stupid

No, seriously. This is a term used within marketing and stuff.

this is an awezome idea! and yeah its to bad the battle royalla died, i really enjoyed killing ppl in that thread!

we must work this out somehow, but still, the big problem whould be, how does online dices work, or something simular that can we prevent cheating and make everything folow the rules then?

hhmm........ sounds very much like the art crusade, which also has the head hunting guild which is one on one. Go check it out, you may find it interesting

but, corect me if im wrong, this is more of an RGP then the art crsades, which is simply killing ppl, or something.

anyway,if someone smart/programer can make some sort of online dice roller, i think this whould be possible, though it whould require some sort of log-in so we can keep track on ppl whos trying to reroll their dice, and some way to link their result to this thread so all can see the number they rolled...

i dunno if this is possible, anyone else got anny better ideas, casue this one seems pretty complicated

wuhu, i actuly found this, an online dice roller, but u can still cheat on it, if we dont have some sort of a gamemaster

http://www.irony.com/igroll.html

http://www.irony.com/mailroll.html
email version, aperently the rolled dice will be sent to a selected e-mail adress, this way u really cant cheat, still some poor guy will have to take responsebility to check their mail all the time though

the art crusade works something like this, theres 2 main teams for artists to pick, either light or dark side, and each week they compete as a team (light or dark) against each other, in order to gain land from a map, last weeks art comp was to draw "watcher and the watchtower" thats placed in a certain area of the map. Who ever competes in the competition/game earns loot, items and leveling points(an artist can go to level 100 just like any other rpg does) There also a side competition withing the match, made just for head hunting, basicly one against one art competition, theme to be aranged amongst the 2 competing. Who ever wins steals the other oponents loot, and also gains level points. Only thing there isn't is a random dice, in order to randomly pick your oposition.
But over all its very much like an rpg, only there isnt realy a set story from the start, but from my understanding, there is some kind of boss player/artist to compete against once the whole map has been won by either dark or light.
