i thought of the book. and the movie.
a little different from what i expected.
great picture regardless. atmoshere and the light works are executed beautifully.
also... another note from your comments on some other thread.. i had tablet for a year without using it, sitting in the closet. cuz i thought my optic mouse was working fine for me. my work displayed here on Conceptart right now are done with a mouse. but once i got the tablet plugged in.... everything changed. if you can excess one, i recommend you try again, and try getting the hang of it.

thanks for the compliments on my image HooN,
it means a great deal to me.
also about the image, I wanted the dreamy state of the movie but without the negitive emotions.... somthing you can enjoy but has a hidden dark side.
also, I did have a wacom tablet for about 6 months ago, i got it on sale for 200 bucks (canadian) and it worked amazing for 2 weeks..and then it died on me...I wish i had the cash for a new wacom...but its just not in the cards
maybe for my birthday!....tomorow!...but probably not
anyways im considering geting a scanner...
its cheaper, and i can just scan in my drawings
is this a better way of painting?
and if anyone knows of a good scanner ..please..:help:

I use a Genius Wizard Pen tablet. Way much cheaper but works GREAT! It's only 5''x4'' but fine for me.
Check ithttp://www.geniusnet.com.tw/product/tablet/wizardpen.htm
It's about 40$
Sorry I don't want to advertise anything but I want to make sure that other poor artists lik me know about this piece of hardware too. :)

This has got very nice colours.
The moon is glowing a bit too much though, and the clouds need more variation and depth. You might want to block them out more and give it some 3-dimensional shading
I like the negative light rays you used. Really makes the character the centre of the piece :)

it's a really good pic!, the thing that really keeps it from being a great pic is the lack of stuff going on..it's a huge negative area with the clouds and a tiny figure near the center...I also like the way her dress looks transparent, it just needs more visual interest.....
