There turned out to be a lot of great work in this thread. Something about fantasy art just gets people going. Turokess, yours is my favorite of the bunch. I don't think the coloring ruined it, but there's definitely something alive in the sketch that didn't transfer over. If you figure out how to capture that "life" in a finished product please let me know...I'm still trying to work on it.
Is it just me or does anyone else enjoy watching the pencil test version of animation over the finished product?

yeah, i like seeing roughs and concept sketches and things. it's where you usually see the most energy
