Sup CA, I'm looking to take on one or two people who are interested in improving their environment studies. I am not an all knowing entity about this, I have only started learning these things recently. But I do posses a sharp eye for color, and a good ability to compare. You'll actually be studying alongside me.

What we are going to do is do exercices like I did below. The goal is to improve the ability to distinguish different colors, be able to spot the type of light in an environment, the color temperature of light and shadow, to be able to see subtle shifts in color (color variation).

I'm looking for people who are very motivated to improve! If you're interested, send me a pm with a link to some of you work. It would be best to send me some environment studies, so I can see what needs to be worked on. Also include some words of motivation.

In case there's to many people interested, I'm sorry I don't have time to pick up a large number of students. I'll base myself on the works you submit, but mostly on your motivation.

I'll be painting along side you, doing the exercices myself. If you don't know me, check out the work in my sketchbook.

I'd def be up for this. I know a bit of colour theory, but my environments suck, and some structured learning would be a big help. Can i be in please? Thanks.

Allright, I recieved about 14 requests of people, which was more than I expected. I decided to up the class to 4 students, but still leaves out quite few people. I encourage anyone who's interested in this thing just following the exercice themselves, you'll learn a great deal from it. Seems like there's a big demand for stuff like this, so I also encourage more people to take on students. It's what makes this community a really great place!

The students that got in are (in alphabetical order :)):

Thanks again for taking me on :) I am thinking of starting my own mentoring thread for ID related stuff, constructing shapes and stuff like that. With this, IDW moderating and my study it might get a bit busy though :P
