Hi,

I'm looking for some advice and critiques to improve my photography.
Here are some of my pics. All critiques and suggestions are wellcome.

Thx in advance!

not a bad start, I would just watch out for over exposure blowing out the highlights like in the first picture

the frog and lily, the central placement of the two points of interest doesn't lead to a very interesting photo, check out this (http://asp.photo.free.fr/Composition/photoProgramCompMainClass.shtml) page for composition help

the wooden one, you may want to look at trying to isolate the subject and get a shot of it against the sky and not have the building in the background

also with the water coming from the log, try and go for a slighter slower shutter speed and you will get more of a smooth flow

in general most beginners like to do close up shots for one reason or another. get away from those.

lol @ Mike. :)

But yeah, I really like the first one despite the overexposure, makes for a nice story.

Keep shooting! :)

I like the first one. A bit overexposed though.
