Hey there,

Looking at the interest at Tegehel's thread, I thought I'd post another resource for people to use.

There is a new forum at thechaosengine.com (http://www.thechaosengine.com), where aspiring game artists can post questions and find contacts that they need. In fact, with Tegehel's persmission I reposted his post on there as well. :)

Need to know how to start 3D? How many polygons should you use for a demo character? What software packages should I learn? Can someone critique my 3D portoflio? That's the place to ask those game-specific questions.

It is a public forum, and professionals from the games industry (mostly from the deveopment side) all over the world frequent that site. So, give it a try and come on over! You never know who you will meet. I have colleagues who posted their work on a board and got hired that way.

I hope to see you there soon.
