watching your process is extremely helpful for those of us still learning how to deal with photoshop painting techniques.

20 minutes, eh? damn thats fast.. . and the pic is hotness. your subject matter on this is a lot different than most of your pics, but its a very pleasing change. i really need to try your process one of these days. enough talking.. . .back to drawing

peace

oh wow lot of replies
thanks for the nice words and i'm glad you find the process useful. these are really quite a no-brainers (i like playing with pigment liners too)

sammy asked what brush did i use- here's a recent zip of my brushes http://lungbug.ice.org/stuff/Lung_brushes_220803.zip for photoshop 7. i used the splatter brush #1 (500px wide) for it

ladylioness, i usea tablet... painting with mouse is stepping on your own toes

here's one more i did today, have no intentions in making this a series tho:

I really like them, I hope you'll share a bit more in the future :)
The second reminds me of Prom's sketches (which is a compliment)

The "deltoid" of the second one is really large, maybe too large compared to his other arm muscles, I leave it to you, still rocks :D

thanks aidan

cucaracha, yes, actually, you're very right about that. i skipped the triceps when i painted it (and it's in the sketch, just messy). and i did have prom in mind when i painted the second one :) cheers

WOW is the only thing I can come up with, I just cant grasp how you make these things that just pop up in your mind. I wish ideas like this would come flowing out of mine. Good luck in the future and thanks for inspiring the want to be artists ( like me )

Greets D.!
