What exposure settings did you use on the snow one? and what time was it taken?

the clouds one seems a bit odd to me, perhaps its the composition something about it doesn't sit right

I like the rose one, though it does seem rather grainy, are these all digital shots?

Exposure: 0.001 sec (1/1600)
Exposure Bias: 0/3 EV
Date and Time: 2007:12:22 11:35:13

also, the cloud one probably looks weird because it was shot looking straight up.

the rose one is grainy because it was a higher iso than i usually use. i didnt mean it to be that high, but i thought it came out good.

These have nice compositions. Next time remember to check your camera settings. :) Other than that, watch out for overexposure.

the quality is bad because i had to copy it to paint and save it. my photoshop was broken when i tried to save.

also, this is from another post that i made, please answer it here.

hey all, i was planning on going to college for photography.

i just want to know, what are some good jobs to look for when i get out of college?

i was thinking working for a newspaper or magazine, but what do you suggest?

right now, im a junior in highschool and im also looking for a job. i want to intern at a studio right now, but theres none that i know of around me.

also, can you check out my work and criticize me on it? tell me what i can improve on and what you like =)

I don't do photography for a living, so I can't help you with that.
No photographers around you? There have to be some! Where do people around your place have their application photos taken and the like? Double check.

C&C:

I like the first one for its calmness.

Main problem is that basically each of your shots is out of focus.
Read up on focus, DOF and how these are connected to choosing shutter speed and aperture.
Google the keywords.

Come back and post.
