Yup, really enjoyed that.

There's probably already a topic but the search is knackered.

Loved this movie. Thought it was going to suck, and be a cheesy sci fi movie when I first saw the posters, but I was really impressed by it.

seriously? I saw this in Argentina last year and walked out of the cinema pretty appauled-bad acting, bad script, and a wasted concept. The cinematography was pretty awsome, but I honestly thought it was one of the worst films I'd seen in ages. The midwife character (I think...the tubby woman) was an especially lame actress. Ah well, each to their own:)

bad acting??? well your right on the to each his own part then...

i like the movie, bummed that they changed it into a more political themed movie. well the book had its politics in it too, but it was more radical in the movie IMO. im all for making a statement, just felt the book did a better job at it then the movie, but alas, 2 vastly different mediums, so oh well.

Thats true of all books turned into movies. Apparently the books are always better, no matter what.
