Here is a Mortal Kombat Smoke concept that was colored by me, and penciled and inked by The_Suit at mk5.org

to tell the trueth, I dont like it. the line work is TO strong for colouring it. it detracks and makes everything confusing. the colouring is done fast I see because it is really plain and the halfassed smoke background makes everything more ugly.

The body itself has a little too much pubch to it. It makes things a little busy. The ink job is identical on the arms and face as it is on the clothes. To me, that just makes the peice a little too unified. The repitition of marks on the skin and the clothes just tells me that the skin has the same sort of texture as the clothing.

However, in defense of the work, the for of the body is done fairly well. I mean beside the fact that he has cankle's (calf-ankles) and his neck/head connection looks a little squashed.

All together, nice work. But when you're doing your inking next time have a greater variation in your marks.

oh, and lose the half assed background and slightly pixelated text.

Yeah, sorry about the misunderstanding. I didn't draw that pic, I only colored it. Can you please critique the coloring?
