Hello all. Haven't been by in a long time. (Go figure.)

Anyhow I stumbled upon this cool web-app thing called Flashitool. And for some reason it made me think of artist community here. (Maybe because it's actually good, and more artists should know about it.) It's home site is: http://flashitool.rivalland.info/

What's even more fun is to google "Flashitool" and you can find a whole slew of sites that have that app active on them. Might be fun to do some art-attacks in the midst of what is mostly random scribbles and bored kid doodles.

The tools in the app aren't too bad either, I think it has a better tool set than what I ever remember sketcher having. So there's some potential behind it when approached with an actual tablet.

I suppose there could be some screen shots or links to drawings/paintings which involved using it too. Might make an interesting thread...

BTW, I hope it's not been posted somewhere already... If so, just link this to the older thread. (Like I said, it's been a while.)

Saw two new artworks put up there that looked like replies. :\

Anyhow, drew this on one of the "replies" just because...

Balls of Steel (http://flashitool.rivalland.info/index.php?option=com_flashitool&task=draw&f=0&s=ive%20got%20balls%20of%20steel_200811115316.fit&cat=sandbox&img=)

This particular one was fun to counter. It was a perfect set up volley after I caught some YouTube showing applicable art-fu in one of the threads going on above this one. XD

Also not sure if it's possible to draw at the same time as in Sketcher, but being able to do stuff to an ongoing drawing otherwise makes scheduling less of a hassle.

I think you all need a reminder of open Canvas...

I use the Warpaint Project (http://www.warpaint.se) client thingy for openCanvas networking, but nobody ever shows up. So it's usually me hosting the only server for 2 hours (doing a solo because of a no-show) or no servers on the list at all. I'd be up for doing that too.

On Mac, 'nix, or Vista? Yeah, the ol' oC 1.1b72 seems to be an XP or older Windoze program from what I've seen. Not sure whether or not it could run under emulation, but even if it worked in such a case - usability is another question (wouldn't be any fun if it's laggy.)

It's not working on my XP home 32bit.
THe program is working, but the networking is not working.
